F1 data analysis
Optimised analytical tools, led by my own platform DeltaTrace, to surface what really moves performance.

CSC is the home for the things I build, starting with Formula 1 data and motorsport media, and ready for whatever comes next.
CSC keeps a single look and language across everything. Each division runs its own work under the same mark.
Using self-built analytical tools, I uncover the trends and patterns inside a Formula 1 season and bring race data closer to the people who love the sport.

The Technical Spotlight series: each team's car philosophy and key developments, explained and updated through the season.
From first contact to race-weekend delivery, built on transparent communication and high-quality storytelling partners can rely on.
An interactive F1 race-strategy platform that lets you explore official timing and telemetry like a race engineer. Pick a session, select two drivers, and overlay speed, throttle, brake, gear and more.

The first venture is live, and more are taking shape. These are the businesses and early concepts growing under CSC, each one carrying the same identity.
A Hungarian-first platform for used electric-car buyers. Pick a model and get an instant check of its battery warranty, known issues and realistic range, then go deeper with a full buyer's report, a charger map that knows your car, and an EV trip planner.

Premium mobile washing and detailing in Budapest, explored together with Lightning Flotta and two motivated young entrepreneurs. Early conversations for now; nothing is signed, and the shape of the venture is still on the table.
A sandbox for experimenting with F1 data, strategy models, and synthetic fuel concepts, turning technical R&D ideas into content, prototypes, and tools for teams and creators.
CSC is open to building things outside motorsport too.
Get in touch →My name is Bálint Csermák-Scharbert, founder of CSC and developer of DeltaTrace. I was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary. My interest in engineering took shape in the last years of elementary school, though at the time my focus was competing for the national tennis team of Hungary.
Twelve years of competitive sport shaped me. I adore competition and high-tension moments; that, together with a pull toward engineering and the automotive world, is what led me to pursue a career in motorsport.
I graduated as a business engineer from Maastricht University, closing that chapter with a thesis on Data-Driven Evaluation of Performance and Strategy in Formula One. This August the professional chapter begins: I join MOL Group in Hungary, where I want to bring a meaningful contribution from day one and keep pushing on the subjects that pull me most, carbon capture and storage and sustainable fuels. It is the same chemistry Formula One is betting its own future on.
Founding CSC and bringing DeltaTrace to life is my first step in running a public project at a bigger scale.
The 2016 title fight between Hamilton and Rosberg pulled me in and got me watching far more closely.
From the first qualifying in Bahrain it was clear this season was different. I started watching every session and digging into regulations and performance data.
Arrived at Maastricht with clear goals. The early engineering hurdles were tough; by the final year, they had been conquered.
Through coincidence I was introduced to journalist and presenter Inga Stracke, my first look at the sport from the inside: engineering debriefs, driver interviews, the paddock.
The partnership grew into writing magazine articles, building online presence, and starting my thesis research under her management.
After a fortnight of coding, testing and debugging, DeltaTrace went live on 20 February, and taught me an enormous amount about working with complex datasets.
Graduated from Maastricht as a business engineer; in August the career begins at MOL Group in Hungary.
